My dad was diagnosed with Stage IV Cholangiocarcinoma on June 13, 2024—and just nine days later, on June 22, we lost him. It was sudden, heartbreaking, and life-changing.
Several months later, I was accepted to run the 2025 New York City Marathon as part of the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation team. That moment sparked the idea for Different Level.
Growing up, whenever my dad encountered something exceptional, whether it was a person, a meal, or a moment, he’d smile and say, “Now that’s just a Different Level.” It was his way of recognizing greatness.
Those words have stayed with me. They remind me that whatever you're doing —whether you're training for a marathon, showing up for your family, or navigating life’s toughest moments —you should do it at a Different Level.
This isn’t just a phrase. It’s a mindset. A tribute. A challenge to push harder, live fully, and honor the people who inspire us to rise above.
